St Margaret Sailing Club's Learn to Sail programs are a great way to stay active and have fun this summer. Our programs allow young sailors to spend their summer days enjoying life on the water while developing sailing skills and lifelong friendships. If you are interested, SMSC attends local regattas for sailors in both intermediate and advanced programs.
Our courses are taught by Sail Canada certified instructors who allow students to experience sailing in a fun-filled, challenging, and safe manner.

There will be two Fundamentals groups that run concurrently in each session. Sailors will have the opportunity to sail in either an Opti (single handed) or the Pico (double handed).

Expectations: Sailors will participate in the regattas that the team will participate in. This team is designed for those who are looking to take their sailing to the next level - if sailors are not committed and do not follow coach instruction they may be asked to no longer participate in the team.
